2020 Toyota Corolla
The all-new 2020 Toyota Corolla sedan features both a gas model and the U.S.’s first-ever Corolla Hybrid.
The Corolla sedan L, LE, and XLE grades use the 1.8L engine found in the previous generation, yet with more horsepower. The SE and XSE grades are powered by a completely-new 2.0L Dynamic-Force direct-injection inline four-cylinder engine.
The new hybrid system combines a 1.8L four-cylinder gasoline engine with two motors/generators through an electronically controlled planetary-type CVT transaxle. Every grade of the 2020 Corolla has better combined fuel efficiency estimates than the previous generation.
