2024 Cincinnati Auto Expo entertains thousands

The 2024 Cincinnati Auto Expo concluded its four-day run in the downtown Duke Energy Convention Center having entertained tens of thousands of guests by providing opportunities to explore and experience a models from a combined 26 domestic and import manufacturers. 

The 36th annual event produced by the Greater Cincinnati Automobile Dealers Association (GCADA) also featured the Expo’s first outdoor EV Ride & Drive made up of  a combined 12 models from Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen. 

The second robust EV Showcase exhibit spotlighted a combined 18 models representing Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Ford, GMC Jeep, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Subaru and Volkswagen. Members of the Drive Electric Cincinnati and Drive Electric Dayton Clubs were on hand throughout the Expo to answer guest questions and educate through series of rotating presentations that covered topics ranging from cross-country EV road trips, to EV tax credits to renting EVs to away-from-home charging options. 

“We thank our GCADA member dealers for helping us create a diverse experience that delievered our guests what we promised – chances to explore and compare new models from a majority the brands in our market,” GCADA Executive Vice President Charlie Howard said.

“We’ve already heard coloquial stories from our exhibit floor about guests adding brands for purchase consideration and acquiring vehicles they saw on our Expo floor from delaerships even before we closed the curtain on this year’s event.

“Thanks to all our guests who were able to join us and create some noticeable high energy each day,  They make it fun for our management team and dealers.” 

The Cincinnati Auto Expo is seeking a new home for 2025 due to the planned extended closing the Duke Energy Convention Center for renovations. The site and dates will be shared as soon as they are established.
